The orange tagged cows are all one "ironed" cattle that came out of Burke,South Dakota. They are 5-7s with every cow having a long tight solid mouth. The cows average 1360 lbs and are 80% black with 20% being baldies and brockles. They are bred to black angus bulls and are calving now for 60 days with there being 10 black calves on the ground. The cows wean a 600 lb set of calves every year in october. The green tagged cows are are 4yrs on up to running age all carrying a solid mouth. They are bred to black angus bulls for 60 days and start calving March 1. The cows will average 1250 lbs. The cows are 70% black with the other 30% being baldies and brockles. These stout heavy breds and pairs are priced at $1050 per head. There are 97 head in this offering.
