Here is a nice group of 50 purebred Angus and a few low percentage MainexAngus or SimxAngus. The cattle are all black with the exception of a few black Baldies and one Smokey cow.They are all middle aged, from 4-7. Absolutely maintained and expected to perform on grass, or some hay in the winter, these ladies are extremely low maintenance. These ladies are primarily Ohlde genetics, with some slight Simm. or Maine in the background of the cows. A.I.'ed to Duff's New Look, Built Right, or Milk Man to calve in March 2010 and pasture exposed for one cycle to ASB Dubya, an OCC Anchor x PaPa Durabull son out of Blackcap Lady 0464 that came directly from Ohldes. Past history of calves includes app. 60 pound birth weights, post weaning weights at app. 575 pounds at 210 day (no adjustments), lots of body, mass, correctness, and look. Cows are managed with one hot wire, and are used to a pasture rotation. These ladies have great udders and teats, disposition is second to none. We are interested in purchasing the calves back and would be interested in purchasing the future calf crops out of these ladies provided we could assist in the semen or bull selection for the new owner. These ladies are very sound, gentle cows that possess some of the best, most predictable genetics in the Industry.
